Concierge service at JR Osaka Station

I found 3 women concierge at the ticket gate at Osaka Station.
They help customer how to change train, advise the train we should take, timetable, and the place we are looking for, etc.They have ipad with internet access.  There is information counter at station but they are standing at the gate, so it is easy to find them and ask them quickly.
I am impressed by their service. If they do not know something, they will check website by ipad.
Some English is available.
