Maifukan renovated last year and it is clean, nice decorated and comfortable modern style. 15 Japanese style room, 5 Western styel room, and 1 both Japanese and Western style room. Beautiful rooftop terrace on the 4th floor is also nice for relaxing and drinking when the weather is good.
Location is also good to explore. There are many sightseeing spot around here. It's only about a 2-minute walk south of Yasaka Shrine, 15-minute walk north of Kiyomizu temple, 15-minute walk east of downtown.
